Payment Method

 We accept Visa, Master card, Bank certified checks, Bank money orders, Bank wire transfers, Western union and  Money gram. We have a secure online payment gateway and all your credit card payments are processed through a  secure checkout. Our website is secured with a SSL socket layer which is the best technology in internet encryption.

We can also process your payments by Visa or Mastercard via telephone. You can send the order to us by email and we can process your payment by Visa or Mastercard through telephone securely. Please make sure that you send certified checks only. This means that your bank has to certify that there is money in your account. All orders paid by certified checks shall be processed only after the amount is cleared by the bank in 5-7 business days. If the checks are not certified then it will take longer, that is more than 15 working days. Once your checks are cleared by the bank, your order will be shipped immediately.

International money orders take about 10-15days to get cleared by the bank. All U.S money orders have to be issued by the bank and not by USPS (United States Postal Service) as they are only for local use and cannot be cashed in Canada. Customers outside of U.S.A and Canada can also pay by western union or wire transfer.

 We accept payments via PayPal a quick, safe and secure portal for processing online payments by using debit and  credit cards. All customer information is kept safe with PayPal.

Taxes:

 All taxes such as GST, PST, QST, and HST would apply to all Canadian citizens only. HST applies to the provinces of  Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and New Foundland; PST applies only to the province of Ontario; GST applies to all the  provinces except Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and New Foundland. GST & PST will be charged for all retail sales in  Ontario; GST & QST for retail sales in the province of Quebec. GST/ HST will be charged for wholesale orders only.  The GST as of Jan 2008 is reduced to 5% and HST to 13%.

  Fraud prevention:  

The online payment gateway we have installed on our website is a secure payment module that communicates with credit card processors in real time. It provides the latest tools to perform a variety of internet-specific checks that substantially reduce the risk of fraud. All orders, transactions, settlements and store configuration settings are managed through a secure web interface. This transaction module allows for safe encrypted transactions to be processed via the internet and also has the capability to process multiple transactions simultaneously thus saving valuable time.

Charge backs:

We honor without discrimination valid cards properly tendered for use. Each sale is evidenced by a single sale data record completed with the sale date, sale amount and other information necessary for the transaction. We do not impose any surcharge or finance charge on the card transaction. We have reasonable procedures in place to ensure that each card sale is made to a purchaser who is actually the card holder or the authorized user of the card. The sales data is free from alteration not authorized by the cardholder. The goods described in the sales data are our sole property and we are free to sell them. If a customer finds a transaction to be fraudulent or unauthorized or he notices a charge on his statement which he does not recognize, or has ordered an item which he hasn’t received then he should immediately bring it to our notice by contacting customersupport@indicana.com to resolve the issue amicably. But if the item is delivered successfully to the address he provided and we get a chargeback for that item for which he did not contact us then he is liable to pay an extra charge of $30.00 CAD in addition to the cost of his order. Please note that we prefer to settle all customer claims and disputes about a transaction directly with the customer regarding our products including those purchased with a card. And we agree to give only non-cash credit for a return or adjustment on a sale that was paid for by a card.

To avoid delays please make sure that the address you provide for billing is the same as the address on your credit card.
